The 1,500 is the total number of all iterations and not just the total for this specific model?

I guess that would make some sense as I think selling 1500 of these unliveried white cars would be hard to do. With all of the diecast MKII cars out there as well as the MKIVs and the 1968 and 1969 Le Mans winners this MKI is really a niche car for the esoteric collector.

In that light, the 1965 Daytona and Sebring class winners would be the cars to model - but I'm not holding my breath.
