Just talking about 1960s historic racing sports cars, there are few that are completely accurate regardless of price. We spend a lot of time discussing it. Some of that comes down to there not being good photos. Another issue is that restored cars are often not accurate. Most of it though is either bad research or lack of it.

But to answer your question there is no point, when you can't get the shape right.

These are the only two Ferraris that finished at Le Mans in 1966. They were the first GT cars, but there was no longer a GT Championship and no real competition. Which makes them kind of irrelevant as far as I'm concerned.

And my pet peive. Why not make a car that won a race, even if it wasn't Le Mans.

I hope they will pick something better and make it correctly. It could happen.
