traction when cold... many newbies over here crashed their S550.
Actually, I slided out of the very first roundabout in front of the dealership, to the shock of the "watchdog" mechanic riding shotgun. :-)
The car felt like driving on ice, with nearly no power input at all - but this was in track mode (my BMW reflex to switch DSC off, my mistake) in the wet next to a filling station, and I was told later that all the cars spill their Diesel there.
In this first moment I thought this car is useless here.

But when warmed up the Zeros stick like crazy, and with a well-defined tendency to lightly tail-happy behaviour, the DSC isn't very intrusive.

This problem of tire-related crashes has also to do with people who are less experienced with RWD driving because the price sticker draws former FWD owners.
Also, no car in this power league is so affordable.
Just hope the insurance doesn't explode when all the used cars go into the secondary market.
