we WERE considering moving to Texas after I retire (in fact, I own 2 rental houses, one next door to our son's old house). But I'm not going to retire for another 2-3 years, maybe more - when I'm close to 70. Further, our son and our granddaughter have just moved back to near Boston and our daughter and her husband live in California. So where we will retire to is a big question - which I don't have to answer now. All I know is that I will leave NJ when I retire - too expensive to live here - and will have to reduce the size of my collection before moving.
