#446531 Welcome on board

I want to first thank everyone using this site. It has been very helpful for me in deciding upon some recent purchases. The discussions here are also very informative and provide a good exchange on the topic at hand. I have been lurking here for some time, unable to get an account, but Kevin came through!
I have been collecting 1:18 scale since the early 1990s. I started out primarily with Porsche 911 variety initially, then into some early 356 models. I branched out to liveried race cars (again primary focus on P-cars). Like a number of others on this site, I focus on 1960s to 2000 European Touring , Trans Am, Le Mans race cars. I have a small eclectic 125 car collection. As with many, I moved from early UT/Global to Autoart and Minichamps, purchased a couple of Exoto models, and Spark models. Then the hobby started to spin out of control price-wise. I have been very pleased with the GT Spirit and Ottomobile resins of late. Good detail and reasonable price. Even Norev has produced a few collectable models.
Since I retired in 2012, my purchasing is down to 4-5 models annually, depending upon what fits into the collection. Most recent purchase was the Minichamps Ford Capri 2600 RS ETCC 1972 (Thanks ULF for your photos!) My likely next big purchase will be the GMP Penske-White Ferrari 512M if the finished result look as good as the gray model photos.
A question for ULF: from your various postings, you seem to have contacts with diecast manufacturers or distributors. Have you any insight whether Top Speed will produce the 914-6GT Brumos Peter Gregg car shown in grey ware at the Nuremburg Toy Fair?
Thanks for the welcome.
Bill
