not compared one of these to the 1:1 car(s) yet. CMC scanned and replicated their models from a recreation, but it happens to be a great one. With that said, I have not checked if and where they might have missed anything, but honestly, this model looks wonderful, and typically they do a better job with most of their GP cars vs. various road cars.

I don't collect any GP or F-1 models, but this one has a strong appeal to me, and looks so darn good, that I'm seriously considering buying the Ascari version.
