I don't think the overpriced resins of pre-wars and showcars and some racers were doing well in the market.
Many are discounted now, and even plastic models like the Ro80 or the Volvo or Z4 GT are re-issued in metal now.
The resin racers like Commodore, Capri and 911 were badly executed and full of faults anyway.
The classics, though, often looked superb – but then they were rather eclectic and too costly.
