In Texas heat, humidity, etc - as long as they are not exposed to the direct sunlight and are wrapped in plastic/saran wrap and put into Uhaul or similar cardboard box that is sealed with tape - they will be absolutely fine. Like I said, I have some boxes that were stored that way for 15 years, and they look brand new.
