#452513 Pic flood: E-Type compa Kyo - AA diecast & plastic - Paragon

I was never a fan of the excellent made and nearly CMC-ish AA E.
The small tires killed it for me.
I never unboxed it and sold two red roadsters long ago, all bought cheap a decade ago.
And now I noticed something else.

The bodies are more bulky and rounded than the other Es on the market.
Swoopier fender contours, and much more metal below the bumper line.

... huge plate, mate.

Flashed you see the pedal car tires and empty wheel wells.
They corrected it on the plastic Lightweight (sic).

Sense the slightly more rounded fender lines?

The Paragon had always too small headlight housings.
But still a very good all-open diecast for half the Kyo's price.

Powerdomes have different shapes.

AA with the best lights, but Kyo's shape probably more correct.
The real car also has rather thick chrome bezels.

The Kyo received a lot of criticism after the bad proto pix.
The high stance was adressed... is it actually that high?

Only difference in height is due to the AA tire size, and the slightly flat Kyo underbody and nose (same for their GTO) highlights the impression.

Aaaah, the engines.... AA's are a bit shorter than the others.
Probably correct.

Whatever... I like the Kyo a lot, and on a market without tee AA every E fan woukd be rather excited, I am sure.

Good shape, awesome paint and finish, well put together, nice details.
