I was never a big fan of the early Corvettes but was a fan of Briggs Cunningham so when I saw this model on sale I decided to add it to my collection.
It looks good on the shelf with the bulk of my other Corvettes - I have five more that are sitting in other spots in my collection. This model is by RAR and I have to say that even at $125.00 it is not a great value for the money. Which kind of mirrors the car itself. The car was a 'class winner' at Le Mans in 1960 but its only competition in the 5.0 GT class were the other Corvettes entered. It finished 8th overall behind four Ferrari 250 SWB cars that raced in the 3.0 GT class.
