The Solido's plate appears a bit odd to me, "Umlaut" letters (you know, the A, O, U with dots on it) are not used on German plates for the letter behind the dash (which is also missing here behind the M).

Only for the first Letters, which direct to the town of the car's registration (here: M for Munich).
These are also newer plates with the odd "tamper-proof" typeface, which came out in the late 90s.
For my M Coupé in 1999 I could still opt for these or the old cleaner typeface.

The upcoming Otto sedan, there was some lament here that it sports the Coupé's rear end, with the smaller rear lights, oddly.
