It was so much fun in 1977, remember seeing this movie in cinema back then.
V8 roar, and rattling country soundtrack on all these chases, lol.

The tire smoking scene at the beginning was awesome, no cars over here did things like this.
Was it a stock engine?

Hardly a tire burning spec with lame 180 horses from mighty 6.6 litres.
Something like 27hp/litre, so laughable.

It was great to see how the US V8s returned to former glory with modern tech in the following decades.
Glad I own one as a daily.
