#462258 Second thoughts about Maistos...

When I dug out my GL F-Bodys I noticed what is wrong with Maisto.
The lack of chassis depth.
Resins and cheap sealed models like MCG are often lack undercarriage stuff altogether, Matchbox toycar-like.

But these things are important for overall feel, stance and optical weight.

Interesting to see the huge difference.

Sleeker rear end of the Maisto looks more correct to me, though, but I could be wrong.
No expert on US cars.
Probably the GL mullet mobile has a too wide rear end.

But this.... :-O

Maisto seems like it is cut-off under the sheetmetal.
Together with the tall stance (which is ok, basically) it appears simple and toy-like from these angles.
Lower side window line seems better on the Camaro, too... more swoopy.
Otherwise, sadly its roof arc is too rounded.
