and affiliated makes and contemporaries; B) Aston Martins, Bugattis and Jaguars; C) Citroen DS, SM and related; D) Models also offered with open chassis (e.g., 1955 Maserati 300S by CMC) - I like the idea of having a display of the complete car, a separate chassis and a separate engine; E) A miscellaneous mix of models of European cars I've driven (e.g., Rover 3500, Lotus Excel); F) Models of any car I've owned (e.g. Fiat 124's, Porsche 356, Lotus Esprit S2, BMW Isetta); and G) Models of miscellaneous cars which have designs which I find very interesting (e.g., 1950's Alfas.)
Selling off: A) All 1970 and later BMW's (about 24); B) about 40 Fiats; C) all 33 Fords; D) all Lancias (about 35); E) all Lamborghini's (about 20); F) virtually all Lotus's (about 70); G) virtually all Maseratis (about 40); H) all 20 McLarens; I) all 30 Peugeots; J) virtually all Porsches (about 80); and K) around 160 other models, ranging from Bentley's to Williams's, and including a group of 1/24 scale Routemaster buses.
I'm still undecided about what to keep or sell of my 367 Ferraris! The idea is to bring the collection count from over 1,600 to under 1,000, then re-evaluate for more reductions to reach fewer than 500.
