Actually, a spooky thing happened a few years ago.
I saw the car before.

On the day Leonard Nimoy passed away in Feb 2015 I took my wife to a doctor, and on the other side of the road there was a large VW dealership.
In front of it parked this very Spock car, like a salute to the great man, erm alien from Vulcan I mean.
