#463812 AA has long abandoned those high end diecasts...

sadly, they were close to the CMCs of this era, but with more diverse topics.

Now they only do those plasticky supercars with many shortcuts and cheap solutions, often with dull bluegrey-ish interiors, and still very costly.

LCD, HPD, Motorhelix, Polar Master, Almost Real and other newer labels show that it still is possible to do neat detailed all-open diecasts, especially with popular mainstream choices.

Well, the market decides... if the modern plastic AA is good enough for their prices, why should they bother to make better models?
Classics don't sell well, the really good plastic Lightweight E-Type is easily available after years.
