I think it also was the first production car (oh well, 272 pcs) that cracked the 300 km/h barrier in German magazine "auto motor & sport" tests.
Also, a client once had one and I was able to picture it and had a test seating, sadly I couldn't drive this... but it looked well-used.
It was in 1991 or 1992 or so.
This is why I keep the erratic HW and bought my most model ever, in plastic.
