tight shutlines, thin wheels instead of generic steamrollers, and fine steering wheels instead of chunky plastic blobs.
(Shame about the closed trunks on these as well as on Ertls, the other 18 mass-market pioneering maker.)



Paint in place after more than 27 yrs, no parts fallen off.









There was a probe of Mcguiars(splg?) wax in the Torino I got from Don B 24 yrs ago.
I thought it was seperated into fluid and lumpy mulch.
Nope, it was like new.
Tried it out on the oldies.



Shape and stance look spot-on for me.









Did anybody else make the 55 Bird since?
It is somehow a forgotten legend, nowhere near the Vette cult.
