did those come from your parts box? I can understand why you deviated from your theme to get that model. I've also bought models of friends' 1:1 cars if those cars made a big impression on me.

One was a 69 Boss 302 and the other was a 68 Shelby GT500 KR. Best memory of the Boss 302 was riding in a car with family and having the Boss pass our car so fast on the highway that our car literally shook from the wind. One family member in the car screamed "WHAT WAS THAT!!!!!!!!!!!" as it blew by at a ridiculous speed while I just laughed. That happened over 50 years ago and I still remember it well.
