Had some 1/24 scale AMT Greenwood flares, wanted them to be scanned, enlarged to 1/18 and printed. My desire was to fit them to the Carousel 1 L88 Corvette mold. Several hundreds of dollars and months of back and forth resulted in flares that don't fit, partially because the Carousel 1 mold has the L88 flares molded in, but also because the 3D artist I was working with had no imagination.
