Not only my 911 diet died this summer, I also replaced my two white AA diecasts, the decades-old Jouef and the GTS 1:12 with an AA finally.
I still do not like the switch to light and flimsy feeling plastic AAs, but at least one white 73 simply has to be in any sportscar collection IMO
The AA got the shape right, which they didn't with the diecast.
Mini grills/indicators were massively wrong, and the roof too low.
Disliked their (correct) inlet painting of the front wheels, too.
Early versions.
PMA had nicer trunk detail, this was fixed by AA now.
Welly was an ok budget model, which I liked but never had, Norev diecast sadly sealed.
Seeing the 1:1 in the Loh Collection sealed the deal... real RSes are super rare, not sure if I ever saw one on the road, even in the 70s.
If anyone was curious what a turbo wing weights.
Or an AA plastic.
So, now the remaining yellow AA will get its papers, too... the black rims were incorrect anyway.
