custom builds on ebay so I thought I'd take a shot at doing one myself to save some money. I left out the California license plate that covered up the engine air vents and I didn't bother with a white steering wheel. I think the stripes on the 1:1's rear fenders were bright red but I liked the darker red that the ebay modeler used so I tried for a similar shade when I made those decals. Lastly, this Maisto has two extra vents on the engine cover that were't on Dean's 1:1 so this is more of a tribute model than a replica.
