asked the Supreme Court to expedite their appeal of the lower court's ruling that the tariffs are illegal. They're asking the high court to begin hearing arguments in early November. Hopefully the case will move quickly.

What I find funny is how the President is claiming this so great because it's making the government rich. What he fails to say is that every US citizen will be footing the bill minus whatever the US retail businesses choose to absorb by lowering their profit margins.

It will affect most everything that isn't or can't be produced here (e.g. coffee, clothing, some foods) and is akin to a consumption tax that will impact lower and middle income households far more than his rich cronies.
