way to get it. I started work on disassembling the silver and black Solido Cobra below to turn it into the Essex Wire car but decided to do some simple changes to improve the Ertl instead.

Now I plan to paint that Solido yellow. I missed out on Exoto's yellow 260 Cobra and don't want to pay today's prices for one of those. This project will at least give me a well-shaped 427 in that color. The yellow I plan to use has a little less orange in it than the shade that Exoto used.
