I don't recall what the stock ride height and fender gaps were like on a 1:1 NC2 but I thought the fender gaps on the NC1 were too large even after I had the Mazdaspeed spring kit installed. Here's the one I owned after the spring replacement. The springs helped the handling even if though they didn't do much for the height.
