this point. In fact, I think my entire collection is only a handful of models away from being what I consider complete. Once I reach that point the only models I'll probably buy are better versions of ones I already have if they happen to come along (e.g. better quality, better color or better livery).
I'm glad most of the cars that I wanted in diecast were from the late 50s to the early 70s. I'm seldom tempted by models of cars newer than that unless I have a strong connection to the 1:1 or it resonates with me on several levels.
