Have not seen anyone else with this car in 1:18 scale. It was one of my first "up from bare metal" projects and still one of my favorites

Exoto never did the earliest of the 1964 Cobra Daytona Coupes as its master mold was for the 1965 cars and the original Coupe did not have, among many other things, the ducktail on the back or the same look around the headlamps that the other five Italian made bodies had.







This model got me to hunt for and find an accurate source for paint, how to make my own decals and how to use Bondo. It also got me into doing close study of race photos to get the details right - Ulf was my mentor in doing that, thanks buddy!
