reason it's often worse on the left side than on the right side. I have the same complaint about my Solido 1967 Shelby 500 in light metallic green. The lighter the car's color the more those gaps stand out.
Now that I have this model I'm thinking about repainting my older nickel silver Solido GTV6 black. That will help hide the door gaps and I think the 1:1 looks good in black.
Another issue I found was one windshield wiper looked partially in the up position (see photo below). I noticed that when was cropping the photo then I bent it back into the down position and it stayed there. :-)
