Like I said in my post, I wasn't brave enough to alter a CMC. Those can now sell for $600 or more in mint condition. I also wanted a plain red street version so getting the Tecno for the racer seemed like the right way to go for me.

What surprised me about this Tecno is that they are only producing 50 of them according the plaque on the base. Now I'm wondering how many of the red CMC 250 TRs were made.
