until sometime in the mid or late 1990s that I started buying them as a collector. I don't recall exactly when in 90s that was.
I do remember that I started collecting automotive magazines and books well before I started collecting 1/18ths. I would buy and save the annual Road & Track road test and buyer's guide issue every year since the 1970s.
