#468599 How do you rate these cheaper models?

Say compared to AA / Kyosho / Minichamps of 15-20 years ago.
Stopped buying for quite some time..... and now the good brands I was used to are too expensive, irrispective of detail, whilst I'd historically preferred to stay away from 'cheap' brands.
Did these cheap brands properly fill the gap?
