#469841Just to think of it, that the first ever Daytona by Exoto from when - 1996 or 1997? - is still available from the website, is downright crazy.
Afraid you are stuck with it.
Why didn't you just put it on the watchlist?
Out of curiosity I bookmarked two supremely attractove roadsters just last week, a big dealer who went the sporty route.
Entering old cars (in boxes) at 1,- starting bid.
A yellow first 260 ended at 235,- and a Canadian Miles racer at 280 or such.
AA plastic prices still, no dreamer outcome.
(He also had the rarer white Dayrona.)
Checked also a yellow Opel GT by PMA.
Dreamer wanted 800 :-D, another one had a starting bid of 200,-
Said dealer put it on at 1,- and it went for 111,-
Market vs. dreams (or greed).
Still much more than the original retail.
Also, the 20 yrs old 1:12 GMPs are still out there aplenty.
Even those without greed prices but more or less original starting bids (plus inflation) simply end being non-bid non-sellers.
