[ Diecast muscle car hoarder (837)[

Hello,

my name is Sven, I'm from Belgium, and I'm an American Muscle Car enthousiast.
My collection consists of about 110 vehicles at the moment, of different high-end manufacturers like GMP/ACME, Lane Exact Detail, Highway 61/Supercar Collectibles, ERTL Authentics, AUTOart, Exoto, and ... Kyosho of course.

My favourite makes & models are Ford (Mustang, Fairlane, Thunderbird), Chevrolet (Camaro, Corvette, Chevelle, Bel-Air, Impala), Dodge (Challenger, Charger, Dart), Pontiac (GTO/LeMans, Firebird), Plymouth (Barracuda, Hemi Cuda), Oldsmobile (442, Cutlass), Shelby (Cobra), etc.

The oldest model in my collection is the 1948 Tucker Torpedo V8 sedan. Only 51 of these cars were made. It was Preston Tucker's only model built. Today, the estimated value of the real car is about $1,200,000.

One of the masterpieces in my collection is the 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS Z10 "pacecar look-alike", a coupé version of the 1969 Indy 500 convertible pacecar. Highway 61 only built 600 units of this stunning model, and that's even more than the real car (only 400 to 500 units).

The 1967 model year Mustang was the first redesign of the original model. The Mustangs became larger (increased overall size, interior & cargo space), just to allow the installation of Big Block V8 engines.
From the left to the right, you can see the 1967 Mustang, the 1968 "Bullitt" Mustang, and another 1968 regular version. I hope you enjoy these triplets as much as I do.

I'm also keen on big block Chevelles. This 1970 Chevy Chevelle "Pilot Car" was the very first one built at the Baltimore plant, on December 9th, 1969. It was the highest horsepower (450 HP) Chevelle ever offered from Chevrolet. The metallic "Forest green" colour fits the car very well.

I'll show some more pictures of my collection in the future.

See ya!
